Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment by Visa and Mastercard, and debit card payment by Solo, Switch, Maestro, Visa Delta and Visa Electron. We also accept payment by bank transfer. If you are shopping from outside the UK, please place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when the Goods are dispatched. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. Orders are taken subject to availability of products. If we do not supply any products ordered for any reason, we will refund any money already paid for those products. However, we will not be liable for any other losses or expenses, which you may suffer if we do not supply them.

Unless otherwise stated, we will ship your order using our standard delivery scheme, which will see your goods arrive in 1-4 business days unless otherwise stated. Prices for our standard delivery service for most UK postcodes (except those classed as outlying areas by our carriers) are below.

Items under 2kgs are typically shipped via Royal Mail 2nd class or Parcel service, and include postal insurance. Items between 2kgs and 50kgs are usually shipped via DHL or Parcelforce recorded delivery (standard delivery is 1-2 business days). Items above 50kgs will typically be shipped using a pallet delivery service. Free shipping offers exclude clearance items, unless otherwise stated.

In rare circumstances, your actual shipping charges may be less than indicated at checkout. Picking Goods Up in Person


Certain goods (typically over 20kgs) may also be picked up in person. If you wish to do this, please place your order as usual and contact us by email. We will confirm your request by email, and shipping charges will be removed from your order. We will notify you when your order is ready for collection.

Items for shipment OUTSIDE of the UK


Many of our products are heavy and/or bulky. As a result, it is impractical to publish shipping tables for shipments outside of the UK - rates vary continuously and will be determined by the weight and volume of your specific order, shipment destination & time constraints. We routinely ship our products to customers worldwide and we will be happy to quote you the most cost effective shipment option. If you place an order online for delivery outside of the UK, your initial order acknowledgement will NOT reflect shipping costs. Please place your order as normal online or over the phone, and we will advise you of any additional shipment costs prior to confirmation & shipment of your order.
Delivery Schedule All goods in stock are dispatched within 2 business days (Monday to Friday) unless otherwise stated. Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the address given on the order and you should make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. Deliveries can be made up to 6pm. All deliveries over 1kg must be signed for and you should keep your receipt.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by yourself or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet the estimated delivery date. After delivery, you are responsible for protecting the Goods against loss or damage. You should inspect the Goods before signing for the delivery of them and report any damage from shipping to the courier and ourselves immediately. You should ensure that you sign for the correct number of parcels delivered.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security Bright Light Solar Ltd does not capture or retain any customer credit card details. We use HSBC Bank Secure ePayments as our payment provider - credit card details are captured and processed directly by HSBC for enhanced security. HSBC use the latest technology, such as Verified by Visa (TM) and MasterCard SecureCode (TM) for added security. All credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption.

Returns Policy These terms do not affect your statutory rights. We do not warranty the suitability of Goods for a particular purpose, and you should check specifications & suitability before ordering. As a result of continuous product development, the exact specification or design of goods may vary. We have the right to refuse at our discretion to supply any goods ordered by you.

Goods are not sold on a trial basis. All returns must be authorised by our customer service department and a Returns number obtained. Goods returned without a Returns number will be rejected.

Unwanted Goods

We will accept the return of non-faulty Goods within 7 days of you receiving them. The Goods must be in an original, unused and resalable condition, with the manufacturers packaging and boxes undamaged or defaced. Goods returned to us that are not in the above condition will be returned and you will be charged with the cost of re-delivery. We reserve the right to charge a 20% handling charge, should the goods not be in a resalable condition. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are returned safely to us. Once the goods have been received and their condition verified, we will refund the cost of the Goods using the card details from the original transaction less our original carriage costs.

Order Cancellation

Orderes cancelled before the goods have been shipped will not incur a charge. Orders cancelled after the goods have been shipped out, but before you have received them will incur a 10% handling fee.

If any provision of these terms & conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be excluded and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions. These terms & conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
