BrightLightSolar was created in 2003 by Ian Tansley, a design engineer with more than 20 years experience of solar technologies.
Ian has designed and deployed solar solutions for a wide range of clients worldwide, a considerable number going to developing countries, providing remote off grid electricity solutions. In particular in the field of education and health.
BrightLightSolar has also established a growing reputation in the UK with the installation of solar energy based systems throught the country ranging from solar powered street lamps through to solar hot water systems.
