These units can be quickly installed and will provide many years of trouble-free service before any maintenance is necessary. With over 20 years experience of working with solar technology in the UK, Bright Light Solar Ltd has developed a range of high quality and reliable solar street lighting systems. Solar street lighting systems are designed to operate as one integrated system. This system includes the power generation, storage and management (solar panels, battery & controller) as well as the light itself, support frame & weatherproof housing. All our solar street lights can be onfigured to turn on and off using a wide range of options between dusk and dawn. The controller automatically adapts to the changing length of day through the year, to ensure the light switches on and off at the correct times. SOX-E Low Pressure Sodium lighting The most cost effective lighting solution is the SOX-E technology. Utilising this technology is possible with Bright Light Solar specialist electronics. This converts the dc power from the battery store to high voltage to drive the lamps. Alternative solutions are available where lower intensity lighting is required for this we normally normally recommend flourescent lighting Street Light Timing to maximise effectiveness To optimise the lamps for most cost effectiveness we are able to programme the lights to operate only at the times they are needed. This means the lamps can be programmed to run for 5 or 6 hours after dark then switch off until they’re needed again a couple of hours before dawn. By doing this we can reduce the size of the solar panels and offer a lower cost solution. Street Light Packages The Street light options illustrated below show our standard packages, all systems can be adjusted up and down in size and capability according to your specific requirements, please feel free to contact us. All systems include: Low-pressure sodium street light (SOX-E), lampholder, lighting ballast (for switching SOX-E lighting), multicrystalline solar modules, sealed gel solar battery to provide up to 4 days of backup, wiring, charge controller, support frame, weatherproof housing & installation instructions. Lighting poles are normally sourced locally due to their size, but are also available for purchase, see below for all pricing. |
